Berberine

Berberine, the active alkaloid in Golden Seal, has demonstrated far reaching benefits beyond its well proven antibiotic and antimicrobial properties including stabilization of blood sugar (reduction of hyperglycemia), reduction of blood pressure in hypertensive patients, and significant reduction of oxidation.  Add in its proven anti-inflammatory properties and its affordability and this becomes a top contender for most valuable all-around health supplement.  It's often overhyped as a weight loss miracle (which it isn't) but there is repetition of evidence that among all its benefits, it may play a role in improvements in body composion.

Bosmeric SR
