After spending decades in the fitness field, I used to feel like I was meeting the same people over and over again.
Dieters caught in a lifelong yoyo.
Aerobic addicts and walkers who “can’t lose fat.”
Gym-goers doing endless sit-ups to shrink their waistlines or hitting the leg machines to "tone their thighs."
Different faces. Different names. Same stories. Same frustration.
All misled. All fixable.
Today? The market has changed.
But not the frustration.
I’m still meeting the same people over and over again — they just fall into five new categories. What they have in common is this. They know they should be loving life. They have it all. Except . . .. one thing, and for each of the five the “thing” is the element of youth and fitness that’s become elusive.
They’re all achievers. They’re all busy. And . . . in their quiet moments . . . they’re all sad.
If you’re one of them, I’ve got both bad news and good news.
Bad news first: If you’ve been trying to improve your health or body and it’s not working, you’re missing something.
Not effort. Not discipline. Not motivation.
Something else.
Good news?
I’ve found that something.
It’s what I call The Healing Code — a breakthrough framework that works spectacularly for all five types I now see every week.
So here’s the question:
Meet them below.
Whether the labs showed hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s or some other named thyroid imbalance, they didn’t want to believe the doctor. Nor did they want to “get on meds.” But they did. And they don’t seem to be much better (even though the doctor says the medication is working)
If you’re him, you think of yourself as healthy. Sure you have an occasional dessert or a plate of nachos on football Sunday, but you never had an issue with blood sugar . . . until you did. And while you hate to admit “something’s wrong,” the doctor handed you a script and you filled it. The doctor’s advice? “You better watch it or you could be in trouble down the road.”
The kids moved out. They’re doing fine, and now its supposed to be time to take care of yourself, but your annual visit has you taking something for your blood pressure, your cholesterol, and to keep your gut issues, joint pain, or anxiety in check. You’re not “sick” . . . but . . . this wasn’t where you were supposed to be.
You’re busy, working, doing your thinking, spending time with the fam, for the most part your energy’s fine as is your focus and mood. Until you had to run to the car in the rain, or carry the suitcase up the stairs, or got a little over zealous in the bedroom, and you push away the recognition that you’re not the same. You keep it to yourself, but it hurts. Sometimes physically, always emotionally. Still, you’re a tough guy. Get over it.
You’re fit. You’ve been fit. You love exercise. But . . . you seem to keep forgetting where you parked your car, what you came into the room for, or what you told yourself you were supposed to remember. You’re way too young for brain issues . . . right? And just because your tummy gets a bit bloated more often than not, it doesn’t mean you have an issue . . . right? And nobody ever suggested there may be environmental factors at play, correctable ones, so you simply go forward, more exercise, eating clean, and wishing it away.
If you see yourself in any of these...
It’s fixable.
But not by guessing.
And not by another round of tests, meds, or another trending diet.
Join me this Thursday as I reveal The Healing Code — a real, practical, proven answer to the health riddle no one else is solving.
